Lecturer in Academic English to international students embarking on BA and MA art and design degrees. Projects, workshops and study trips introduce students to reflective creative practice, semiotic analysis and theories of cultural globalisation, seen through the experience of London as an international city.
Presessional courses prepare international students for their main UAL degree course. Students develop their academic reading, writing, speaking and listening skills, experience life in London, and learn about British cultures.
As a lecturer on in-sessional and foundation courses, I developed and delivered modules for:
- MA Applied Imagination and MA Culture, Criticism & Curation (Central Saint Martins)
- International Preparation for Fashion course (London College of Fashion)
- BA Spatial Design (London College of Communication).
